The Team: Charlie Baker: Owner/Operator   Charlie is the youngest child of the Emily Baker and the late Chief Simon Baker (Khot-la-cha) of North Vancouver. He was born and raised on the Capilano Reserve and comes from a large family of leaders in the community. Charlie has been raised with strong cultural background and very hard work ethics which he brings to this business. He was given the ancestral name “Chilym” in a family potlatch in October, 1998. He is assisted by his sister Faye Halls “yeltsilewet”, who has extensive administration experience. Faye has been a Department Head for 15 years, President of First Nation Employment Society, Board member of SFU First Nations Advisory Committee. She has also sat on many organization committee’s for special events such as the BC First Nations Elder gathering for over 5000 elders and various other fund raising functions. Together, they are ready to give the best service possible to special events in the Vancouver area. Charlie has over 15 years of experience in the tent rental business. He always gives his customers top service and keeps his commitments and promises. During this period he has had the pleasure of working on many offsite community and private functions. He thoroughly enjoyed partnering with others in order to deliver an outstanding experience for his clients. With an exceptional work ethic and attention to detail, Peter promises to bring his hospitality - customer first- attitude to each project.
